1. Description of Services

The M.A.P. provides insights and tips to small businesses (businesses with up to 50 employees) for business growth based on the information they provide. It collects and analyzes data from various sources, including but not limited to small business-provided data, PayPal data, publicly available data, and other relevant data sources.

2. User Obligations

1. Accuracy of Information: As a user of the M.A.P., you are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about your business. Any decisions made based on the insights and recommendations provided by the M.A.P. are solely your responsibility.

2. Authority: You acknowledge that you have the right to share the information on behalf of the small business with M.A.P. and PayPal.

3. Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights when using the M.A.P.

3. Data Collection and Usage

1. Small Business Data: The M.A.P. collects and stores information provided by the small businesses, such as business name, business industry, years in operation, company size, number of employees and other business-related information. This data is used to generate insights and recommendations for business growth.

2. Data Security: PayPal takes reasonable measures to protect the security and integrity of the data collected. However, PayPal cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmission over the internet.

3. Anonymized Aggregated Data: PayPal may aggregate and anonymize the data collected from multiple small businesses to analyze trends and patterns. This aggregated data may be used for research, benchmarking, and improving the services provided by the M.A.P.

4. Intellectual Property

1. Ownership: The M.A.P. and its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and algorithms, are owned by PayPal or our licensors. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without PayPal's prior written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability

1. The M.A.P. is provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties, expressed or implied. PayPal does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the insights and recommendations provided by the M.A.P.

2. PayPal shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the M.A.P. or the inability to use the M.A.P.

3. The content is provided for informational purposes only and you should always obtain independent business, tax, financial and legal advice before making any business decision.

6. Termination

PayPal reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the M.A.P. at any time without prior notice or liability if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

7. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

PayPal reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The revised terms will be effective upon posting on the M.A.P. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
